Th BooksWagon stall saw a colossal crowd of fans waiting to interact with Durjoy. What surprised us and Durjoy was that majority of the fandom brought the whole collection of his books- 10+ They were waiting t get a chance to interact and get their copies signed.
Durjoy Datta surprised everyone by taking the entry from the back side of the podium- that not only made his fans excited, but also many had tears seeing him. Being a social media str too, he had a huge female fan following shouting at the top of their voices; while one even said “I love you like your wife does”. With all the fun, his podcast began.
Durjoy Datta spoke about his weekly regrets for quitting engineering but still how he never feels it as a wrong decision, because his whole life revolves around chaos. The crowd was hyped up to see the introvert Durjoy Datta express so much. We joked about how he expects 2-3 people to come to meet him, while the numbers cross hundreds always! The podcast ended with the moderator’s question asking if he still prefers Bengali food? He very delightfully said that in is marriage, even after getting mocked and joked upon, he “love the 2-3 days purana Bengali food, as Bengali food tastes better when it gets old!”
Following the podcast, was hiss signing session. He personally interacted with each of his fan; the number being in hundreds. Pictures were clicked, copies were signed and everyone left with a truckload of only good memories and laughter!
